A Little More About Me

I enjoy eating...
anything wholefoods at the moment. I love roasted pumpkin, spinach and fetta salad and olive sourdough bread. And I love juicing carrots, apple, ginger, celery, beetroot and kale.
I sing in...
the car almost every day. Ever since our family saw We Will Rock You the musical, school pick up has been the perfect time to sing to the soundtrack in the privacy of the car (well kind of)!
I get active in...
the gym with weights, rowing, cycling and stepping. I also run the hills around my home. A late night Bikram Yoga is also a favourite of mine.
Every year I commit to...

The Mother’s Day Classic Fun Run, The Sydney Running Festival Bridge Run and the Spring Cycle with my kids (covid permitting).

The first thing I do in the morning...

is go for a bush walk with my husband and family fur baby Mia. She loves chasing the ball!

The people that challenge me the most...

are definitely my kids. The push me past my limits but also teach me a lot and give me the greatest joy. Just like childbirth really!

Every day I use my...

Thermomix and especially enjoy making CADA on the weekends with Coconut, Almonds, Dates, Apple (and walnuts thrown in) topped with fresh yogurt – yum!

I take time out for...

calling a friend on the phone and catching up. Recently these ‘chats’ have turned into 3-4 hour conversations which is so good – thankfully my children occupy themselves during this time which allows me this quality time to myself!

My favourite sometimes food is...
White Chocolate and Gelato.
A first for me this year...

is being a proud (yet down-to-earth) mum to our eldest son who was awarded College Captain this year!

The team I belong to is...

my women’s summer soccer team ‘M&M’s’ suitable named as we have so many Emma’s in our team. We play hard but land softly!

My favourite restaurant is...

Burnt Orange in Mosman. I had a surprise Baby Shower there which was special as it was my first one with my fourth baby. I love everything about this café and the wide balconies overlooking the magnificent views feel so gorgeous.

My best friend in the world is...

my husband as he supports, encourages, listens to, comforts and makes me laugh (even with old material he has used before). He understands me better than anyone.

The biggest challenge for me...

has been keeping a household of 5 going while my husband travels for work. Toughest parts are the departure and arrival days.

The hardest phone call I have ever received was...
when I was told my dad had passed away.
My new habit is...

meditating every morning and my annual solo week away at a health retreat. Just me.

My big adventure this year is...

renovating our home. From top to bottom. Inside and out. What a journey this will be!
