Welcome to my Coaching Practice. My name is Julie and I’m an experienced Professional Certified Mindset and Performance Coach on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.

It’s my job to remind you who you are and help you declutter your mind to make space for what really matters. I’m passionate about helping individuals, including women juggling growing families and businesses, to flourish and reconnect with the best version of themselves.

I’m a practiced listener. I listen as much for what is not said as for what is said. Armed with fresh insight, I will challenge you in a firm but nurturing manner. I often know my clients better than they know themselves. Together we’ll craft individual coaching sessions around what inspires you most. Having someone ‘on your team’ changes the whole game of life and results appear faster than doing it on your own.

I started my professional journey gaining Tertiary Qualifications and experience in Occupational Therapy, followed by obtaining Coaching Certification with Results Coaching Systems (known as The Neuro-Leadership Institute).

I currently hold an ICF (International Coaching Federation) PCC (Professional Certified Coach) Credential. This is a globally recognised coaching credential from the world’s largest and highest quality community of professionally trained coaches. It’s the gold standard of international coaching. In being a member of the ICF, it demonstrates my commitment to excellence in professional coaching. I’m determined to see coaching being an integral part of everyday society.

Part of my coaching practice uses the ACT model (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) used by thousands of mental health professionals around the world.

I’m continually growing my knowledge and coaching skills through Continuing Coach Education with the ICF and leadership institutes who specialise in Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Neuroscience and Emotional Intelligence. I completed Positive Psychology Classes of 2020 and 2021 ‘The Positivity Prescription’ with The Positivity Institute following the ‘Search Inside Yourself’ Leadership Institute Program, which is the number one most popular and highly rated program at Google and is featured in The New York Times and Fast Company Magazine.

My coaching foundations are Evidence-Based Holistic approaches based on the latest scientific research from the fields of Positive Psychology, Neuroscience, Mindfulness, Character Strengths, Self-Compassion, Growth Mindset and Lifestyle Medicine. I also build my coaching skills in attending annual Wellness conferences for my personal and professional development including ‘Mind and Its Potential’ and ‘Happiness and Its Causes’ which brings together world leading neuroscientists and positive psychologists.

My Business Practices meet the Professional Ethical Standards of Conduct and I practice the 8 Core Coaching Competences as defined by the ICF.

My Mission is to inspire everyday individuals to rediscover their purpose, reconnect with their best self and demonstrate self-belief in their personal and professional life.

My Vision is to increase community awareness so that coaching becomes an integral part of everyday wellness.

You lead the way girl

With experience and insight gained from over 700 coaching hours I’ve naturally worked with a variety of individuals. Over time I’ve partnered with a growing number of individuals, especially those with growing families, wanting support in carving out time for themselves. With life becoming busier and more demanding, there has never been a better time for individuals to prioritise what they value most. It’s a joy to watch the growth of people who find their own unique purpose and meaning in their life.

How you FEEL is everything

This famous quote by Maya Angelou best describes the impact I aim to have on my clients. ‘People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel’. I believe how you feel is the best measure for how you’re going in life.

Walk out empowered

When you do what you love, you don’t need to find reasons why you love it. You just do. I love coaching and I believe life also needs to be fun, so you’ll find our sessions are light yet challenging in a way that nurtures your best self. My aim is for you to leave our coaching sessions more empowered than when you walked in.

I walk my own talk

My top core values are congruent across my personal and professional life. They include simplicity, authenticity, fun, connection, healthy living, openness and creativity. I live with my husband and 4 growing children in Sydney. The ultimate pleasure in my day-to-day living is leading a healthy lifestyle and overall wellness. Eating nutritious food, exercising, good sleep habits, meditation, connecting with those around us and having fun are my pillars of health. Raising 4 children in Sydney has highlighted the challenges that we as parents face in daily life. I know first-hand how crucial it is to find your centre and sense of calm without being impacted by the busyness going on around you.
